Seasoned practitioners, with deep technical knowledge.

We are senior E&S professionals, each with over 30 years of experience working with business leaders, project developers, lenders and consultancies across the full environmental and social lifecycle — from E&S strategy through to operationalisation.

Our focus is risk, impact assessment and due diligence, through to management systems and capability building. We have worked in more than 40 countries, for clients ranging from multinational corporates to SMEs, and have delivered formal and informal training to hundreds of professionals and leaders.

We have worked on both sides of the table — as client and as contractor, inside major corporates and as independent advisers to the lenders scrutinising them. That range is what allows us to give advice that is proportionate to the situation rather than defensive.

We have done the work we are advising on. The judgement comes from having been accountable for it, not from having read about it.

Jo Bole

Over 30 years in environmental and social practice — as a consultant, as Shell's Global Head of Social Investment and Principal Technical Expert for ESHIA and social risk, and for more than two decades as an independent adviser to multilateral lenders, Equator Principles banks and major project developers.

She's worked as an E&S panel expert for the World Bank, and advises EBRD's Environment and Sustainability Department.
